Just look at what these beauties can do! They’re specially formulated to clean hands, tools and surfaces from all sorts of nasties:

wet and semi-cured paint      sealants      polyester fillers

adhesives      bitumen      polyurethane      expanding foam

oil and grease      silicone      epoxy resins

They are particularly useful when there is no water on site.

Wonder Wipes will also remove finger marks, dirt, grime, oil, grease, petrol, inks, and food stains.  At TBS we clean our counters with them.

Wonder Wipes contain lanolin and vitamin E to condition skin and prevent dryness and cracking, there is no need to rinse hands after use.

And that’s not all! Wonder Wipes now contain a powerful anti-bacterial additive that is tested by an independent laboratory to BSEN 1276:1997 and BSEN 12054:1995 – the standards for killing bacteria on dirty surfaces and hands. Cordless power - forget the extension leads

While the winter holds off, it might be your chance to think of your fences or your shed. When were they last given some protective care and attention? If it’s longer than 5 years, you probably need to get them re-done.

The corrosion-free BioDisc

If your home is in a remote location, it’s likely that it won’t be connected to the main sewage network. It almost certainly has a septic tank, where sewage waste is not just collected but also treated.

But is yours nearing the end of its working life? Or, if you’re planning a new build, are you looking for the best option? The Klargester BioDisc offers a high-performance, low-maintenance system that turns household liquid waste into a clear, odourless fluid that meets the rigorous quality standards demanded by local authorities.

The BioDisc uses rotating discs, powered by a quiet and low-voltage motor, to aid the bacterial process which breaks down the waste. It is robustly constructed from corrosion free materials which help ensure the long life of the system.

The Bio Disc has the lowest running and maintenance costs of all treatment plants in its class.

A Septic Tank with Aeration Chamber

The Klargester SuperSeptic Tank is a new-generation product that combines a traditional tank with a small air pump, which can be located above ground and up to 13 metres away.

The function of the air is to oxygenate the waste, which speeds the process of it being broken down by bacterial action. It also has the effect of sharply reducing any odour.

Bacterial action breaks down solid waste into a natural liquid, which flows out into the garden or field. No pollution, and no danger to pets or farm animals.

The SuperSeptic tank is easy to install and is robustly built to withstand pressure from the soil. It has a discreet 600 x 600mm opening with pedestrian duty cover. The operating cost of the aeration pump is less than that of one 60w bulb.

CEMSTRIP, from Everbuild, is  a new type of cement, concrete and mortar stain remover. It is non-hazardous in transport, storage and use. It’s also fully biodegradable, unlike many traditional cement removers, which are based on hydrochloric adic and are lethal to bio-organisms if tipped down the drain.

Cemstrip will also remove salts and efflorescence from the surface of brick or stone. It is a very effective general cleaner for removing ingrained dirt, grease and stains from paths and patios.

Cemstrip is ideal for removing fresh or semi-cured cement from paths, patios and walls. Use it for removing cement from hand tools like trowels, or from mixer paddles and even cement mixers.

TBS stocks Cemstrip in a 5 litre bottle or a 1 litre spray. It is a highly concentrated formula that can be diluted by up to 10 times with water to suit a variety of applications.

NOTE: Cemstrip is unsuitable for use on marble, travertine or granite, or on coloured, cement-based pavers.

It shows that the number of ‘hits’ has gone from an average of around 15 a day at the start of the year to near enough 30 a day by the year end. People from several continents have tuned in – but we can’t promise to deliver to Canada!

They have chosen Breast Cancer Care as their charity for 2012.  They hope to raise £50,000 to support people affected by breast cancer.

What a difference a patio can make! A place to sit with friends and family on those dreamy Summer evenings. If you already have a patio, is it looking old and shabby?
